I’ve stolen a very useful questionnaire where I can make a balance of the things that happened in my life during this year…
1. What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before? Yoga and Pilates. I’ve found a new way to get a balance between my body, mind and soul.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Not sure. I’ve learnt lots of new things but I know I’m a new person today.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Noup.
4. Did anyone close to you die? Not so close to me, closer to one of my best friends. Sad times..
5. What countries did you visit? On my mind counts?
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011? Love, my so waited trip, new friends
7. What dates from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? May 28: the day my best girlfriend’s mum passed away. That chilled and broke my heart.
December 25: The day a foreigner invited me to have a beer with and then lots of them join us. I felt part of a group.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Managing a new job position… a huge challenge.
9. What was your biggest failure? Failing to forget about the Br.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Yes.
11. What was the best thing you bought? A ticket for the best electro, house party ever.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? That time when I had to tell the truth to make justice prevails.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Some people who try to look so good in front of you, when he/she is totally opposite.
14. Where did most of your money go? Debts.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Meeting one of my best girlfriends after 10 years without seeing her.
16. What song will always remind you of 2011? I actually have got two songs: Paradise – Moving to Mars both by Coldplay
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or fatter? (c) richer or poorer? I have to say I’m the same… thinner and happier but definitely richer.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
With my family and making happy my little nephew… We had dinner and spent a good time together.
21. Did you fall in love in 2011? Noup.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Noup.
24. What was the best book you read? “Vivir para Contarla” Gabriel García Márquez
25. What was your greatest musical discovery? Adele
26. What did you want and get? Pay a huuuge one debt.
27. What did you want and not get? I wanted to go to France, and meet the supposedly love of my life…
28. What was your favorite film of this year? Faster and Furious 5.
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Work – eat .. 27
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Two things! Forget about the Br. and get my trip..
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011? Not so sure… maybe a completely mess.
32. What kept you sane? Reading.
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Coldplay
34. What political issue stirred you the most? Hard to tell – in my country everything may happend.
35. Who did you miss? The Br.
36. Who was the best new person you met? Nico, and amazing quebecoise who had teached me lots of things and he’s keeping doing it.
37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011. “let it go, If always was yours, it’ll come back…”
